Small Claims Court case paid in full by Sedona Gallery, Aalia Golden
After
3 years, my small claims court case against Aalia Golden has settled
and is paid in full. I have finally received payment for my artwork
which was on consignment and was sold by her Sedona gallery, Golden
Manzanita Gallery, located in Hillside Sedona, in 2006.
From the gallery, I received checks that bounced, checks from accounts
that were closed, and payment withheld by the bank. I made several
offers to accept alternate payment schedules, but was unable to collect
until the small claims court, Verde Valley Precinct, Yavapai County,
AZ, ruled in my favor and set up a payment plan.
The defendant is A'alia Golden of the Golden Manzanita Gallery,
previously known as Manzanita Magic. Marcus Gilhuis was the main
person I communicated with, and he worked closely with Aalia in selecting,
transporting and installing my work in the gallery, and signed my
contract.
Other parties and names involved in the business were: Aalia
K. Golden, Aalia Kazan, Mark G. Gilhuis, Marcus G. Golden, Marcus
Gilhuis, Studio Manzanita, Manzanita Gallery, Golden Manzanita Gallery,
Manzanita Magic, Kentia Yoseyva, Qnta Yoseyva, and Light Stream Productions.
